Just a bit of a heads-up for Horror film fans, there's a fab looking Documentary coming up on BBC4 on Monday 11th October called the History of Horror, which screens at 9pm (though there'll probably be a repeat later in the evening and in subsequent weeks in the run up to Hallowe'en. It's presented by Mark Gatiss from the League of Gentlemen (who claims that he and other League of Gentlemen writers were far more influenced by Hammer Horror and The Wicker Man than Monty Python or The Goons). The focus of this programme, happily for me, seems to be classic British Horror, such as Hammer's Dracula (1958).
I literally can't wait for this!
