Hope I'm not treading on the toes of other masquerade managers, but I'm off to the following at the end of November at Dartmouth... www.laughingmagpie.co.uk/faerie.htmlThere are a couple of daytime events - including high quality folk-tale short films, then an evening masked ball...

Thanks for telling us of the event, looks great, If I had more time and money (who doesnt want more of both) I would go but alas not right now Oh the costumes I could make! But for some reason Im still struggling to figure out what to do for my party outfit on saturday! Have moved the tread along to our other events section though so people looking for something to do can locate it. We dont mind at all being told of other events, we go to them too and as long as theres no 'their balls crap go to this one instead' then its all good to share the knowledge ;D

Oops, tired when I posted - forgot about 'other events' The Masked ball for me was a bonus as my main reason was to catch up during the daytime events with the talented Elizabeth-Jane Baldry and her film-making, story-telling and harpistry... www.fairyharp.com/homepage.htmlRegards, Daniel strangerover.livejournal.com/p.s. also off to see New model Army on Thursday 26th. November at Brighton

Thats ok, I like to feel like I have a purpose on here sometimes as theres not really any real need for proper moderating as unlike some forums we dont tend to have mass bitch sessions (no need to start guys just to help me feel busy!) ;D Wow you are busy this november then! I have the halloween party this saturday, Im actually going to a proper chuch on sunday for a service (a favour for someone as their daughter is training to be a funeral director and wants to see how religion works, and I can somewhat humour them), and I have a xmas shopping trip planned mid november in Camden but it really seems that is it for me

That does look really lovely - argh, totally broke however as I just blew all my cash on business stuff. Le sigh.
Hope springs eternal for next year however, when I may have a bit of cash to go out with.
