27th July 7.30 Tickets went on sale this morning and selling very fast. OMG that's amazing!! Only two days after my birthday too! Mind you I'm glad we decided not to book him for one of our events... doubt our event would sell enough tickets to pay his rather scary fees, if all the locals who were into him had already got their fix at the city hall...

Lol yep, they never forgot being gods to the egyptians.
Another saying that you call a dog and it will come straight to you, call a cat and you will have to leave a message and it may get back to you at some point if it feels like it.
Still love them though.
On the cat subject we are now believing cleo to be part Bengal due to markings, length, jumping ability and fondness of water, she was talking to the rain this morning, it was very funny! Being part Bengal certainly explains just how unusual she is

If I'm not too late to get a ticket tomorrow I'll be there.
Bob who does a very good Numan tribute is playing before the gig but for the life of me I cannot remember where he said they were playing - but its one of the pubs in Salisbury.
As for cats Alisha will be getting her new kitten Charlie sometime in the next few days so another addition to the madhouse!!!!!!!!

I won't be going to the Numan gig for a few reasons - a) it's the day I get back from WOMAD and I'll be knackered and broke, and b) it's my father's 75th birthday and if I have energy to do anything, I should see him. Otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing Numan. I saw him before at Southampton Guildhall in the late '90's. I enjoyed the early singles but wasn't too keen on the later stuff, especially 'Absolution' and some of his album tracks which kinda all sounded the same, a bit slow and doomy. If I had the time, money and energy I'd go along to see if he'd improved and to hear the singles again, but events have conspired against me this time. Lots of new Underground Kitties! Yes, being part Bengal would explain a lot about Cleo - I've never seen such a LONG cat in my life, and the markings are SO unusual - part tabby, part Bengal, I think. Then on Wednesday, Purple Absinthe showed me photos of Acquiescence's new 8 week old 'post office' kitten (that's a black and white cat), who is currently named Vader by Acquiesence's son. Honestly, it's so cute, I squealed very loudly in the pub! And now Charlie, Twisted Kitty's daughter's new kitten. I WANT PHOTOS! I'm going now before I die of cuteness overload.

Boo...Absolution is one of my favourite songs!
I don't really "do" concerts though so even though I'm surprised that this is coming to Salisbury, I'll be giving it a miss.

I see from that link that Alice Cooper and Motorhead are playing Swindon this month. The price of the Alice Cooper tickets though - I nearly had a heart attack!

I have tickets for the Motorhead gig, as support includes The Damned (who I missed last year). But the tickets for Alice Cooper are too much for me, even if he does have a whole circus of horrors thing going on. It probably just gives him a chance to sneak off for oxygen without anyone noticing!
