First off - shock! I'm not from Salisbury.
Second off - My wife runs inner Sanctum, Poole's most unusual shop catering for Goths, Pagans & Pirates and any combination thereof.
We will be at the ball. I'll be Neptune in a bronze Venetian mask, 'er in doors will be whatever she decides to wear plus a leather black crow mask.
I tried to have a stall at the event, but there isn't the room. However, I'm in negotiation with the organisers about doing so at other events. If they let me I'll bring a bag of Alchemy goodies. If you're after anything, my profile includes the shop e mail address.
I'd looked into running a stall on Salisbury market, but at £55 for a day it's a bit steep! And I'd have had to get up early on the Saturday!
I've noticed other commercial posts. If this type of posts are not welcome, please contact moderator & I'll close the account.

David Gothpiratepaganguv Welcome to the forum, within reason commercial posts are allowed but this doesnt extend to spamming and purely advertising wares. If you wish to advertise then you can do so by putting one message in the 'offline stores' section of the forum and leaving it as such, then if people are interested they will find it and contact you. On the ball front as Im sure (A') will have said, while we can not control what people bring in their bags, any hassling of guests in any form will not be tollerated and following a request to cease such actions, if it were to continue in a way we feel is not appropriate you run the risk of being evicted from the event. What might be a better course of action for you is to create some form of business card, while these are not permitted for leaving around tables (or any flyering) you can when talking to people hand them one to create a link and awareness of your store. I understand that with the current climate that everyone is having to work extra hard to survive as a business but pushing too hard can give a company a bad rep, which Im sure is not what you are looking for. I hope this is of help to you and prevents any issues for the future. P.A

Hi David, welcome to the forum. You're welcome to post an advert for your shop and website in the relevant sections (we have them for both on and offline vendors). Also you're welcome to post about any sales or special announcements you may have as long as it's within reason - about once a month is ok - but keep it in the same thread as your original advert (it'll show up in the recent posts which is where most people head when they log in anyway). Hoping you'll come here not just for commercial reasons though - I know you're not from Salisbury but we like to hear about any events in travelling distance - so it'd be good if you kept us posted on whatever's going on in Poole - I believe you run a fair few events of pirate flavour for instance? And of course friendly random chat is always welcome too See you at the ball! ~Acquiescence First off - shock! I'm not from Salisbury.
